What it pays for

  • Sickle cell tests for people who cannot pay for one at a screening day
  • Folic acid and preventive antibiotics for members who cannot afford them
  • Transport for families who live too far from a clinic to reach it
  • Printing and materials for talks in schools, churches and mosques
